Boosting Libya attractivity for foreign investors

EU4PSL supports Libya in improving its Doing Business Index. This index, which is produced every year by the World Bank, serves to evaluate the quality of business environment to grow and start businesses. As such, it is a major tool to have Libya improve its reputation among foreign investors.

The project will provide technical assistance to work on improving Libya’s rank:

• Review of current situation and identification of main weaknesses
• Analysis of Libya’s potential progress in the index’s criteria
• Promoting partnerships and synergies with all stakeholders involved in this issue
• Recommendations on priority actions and reforms to be implemented throughout the country's legislation and administrative processes, as existing in all Ministries

This activity is part of the component 1 "Strengthening the capacities of the Libyan institutions"
