Training on Microfinance for North Africa and Rural Banks

Within the framework of the EU4PSL project funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France to support the private sector in Libya, a training on microfinance has concluded on Thursday, the 24th of November 2022, benefiting both the North African Bank and the Rural Bank, under the supervision of the microfinance expert Mr. Nabil Kesraoui.

The training includes the basics of managing microfinance and managing credit and operational risks. The training also discusses some international best practices in microfinance. These efforts aim to support Libyan banks to provide access to finance for micro and small businesses to be able to expand and grow.
